Class year will normally be designated as year of matriculation plus four with the additional requirement that the accumulation of:
- 33/3 units is necessary for fourth-year status
- 22/3 units for third-year status
- 11/3 units for second-year status
The class year of transfer students will be determined on an individual basis. Class year designations will be reviewed at the end of Term E each year and changed if the credit accumulation does not meet the above specifications. After Term E, students may petition to be redesignated in their original class if they meet the minimum unit requirements.
