WPI is accredited as an institution by the New England Commission of Higher Education. In addition, the Aerospace, Architectural, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical & Computer, Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical, and Robotics Engineering (BS) programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria. Additionally, programs follow specific Program Criteria for their Engineering Program. The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department and its program are approved by the American Chemical Society and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The bachelor’s and master’s degree programs offered by The Business School are accredited by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
